روزي نيكيتا خروشچف، نخست وزير سابق شوروي، از خياط مخصوصش خواست تا از قواره پارچه اي كه آورده بود، براي او يك دست كت و شلوار بدوزد. خياط بعد از اندازه گيري ابعاد بدن خروشچف گفت كه اندازه پارچه كافي نيست. خروشچف پارچه را پس گرفت و در سفري كه به بلگراد داشت از يك خياط يوگوسلاو خواست تا براي او يك دست، كت و شلوار بدوزد. خياط بعد از اندازه گيري گفت كه پارچه كاملاً اندازه است و او حتي مي تواند يك جليقه اضافي نيز بدوزد. خروشچف با تعجب از او پرسيد كه چرا خياط روس نتوانسته بود كت و شلوار را بدوزد.
خياط كفت:"قربان! شما را در مسكو بزرگتر از آنچه كه هستيد میبینند !!!
